"Why do they have to keep the meeting so early?" My Lilith complained rubbing her eyes with her fists. I had tried to make minimal noise while getting ready but I guess she was disturbed anyway.
"I think they want to get over with it before the gala. Why don't you sleep some more? I'll be back in a few hours." I kissed her forehead pouring all my love for her in the small gesture. I have no idea what was going to happen at the meeting but whatever may happen I won't let her mother get what she wants, my Lilith won't be haunted by her anymore.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Come back early to me." She mumbled sleepily and puckered her lips for me to kiss which I did. Singing I tucked her in and left the room. Ridding myself of all emotions I entered the meeting room where
