I ran across the forest with all my might with my mate unconscious in my arms. I wasn't able to protect her, I failed to keep the promise I made. I looked down at her and the day I met her flashed in my mind, that day I was running with her in my arms the same way as now.
I shrugged off the images and concentrated to reach the pack hospital in time, blood dripped from her leg and soaked her dress across her stomach. My heart raced against time when she coughed blood, I was truly terrified.
I barged in through the doors of the hospital and called for someone to treat her immediately.
"Luna!" A doctor came to me questioning on what happened.
"We were attacked by rogues on our way. Save her!"
"We will do our best Alpha."
They took her to the OR while I could do nothing but
