William's point of view
William walked back to the palace going straight to his mother, to check up on her, he also wanted to tell her everything hoping she would help him find away to cancel the engagement,
He paced to his mother's room, finding Joseph her guard at the door, "how is she" he asked Joseph who was meant to always be by her side, "the Queen is much better you highness, except she is currently sleeping" Joseph said
"That's okay I would just check on her" William said to opening the door quietly to find her eyes shut, he quietly close the door back, before turning to walk away,
It was still early evening, he thought about taking to Catherine about it, telling her the woman he told about is back and he could no longer marry her, but he felt the need to pass it through
