Liam looked at the chief. He was surprised. "What are you saying," the prince asked.
"The duke's daughter is in my house as we speak, the marques have gone back to veeradawalls but I heard him promise the dutchess of his return" Ethan explained.
"Are you trying to tell me the duke's daughter survived the fire?" William asked, he masked his excitement with a stern look.
"Yes Your Highness, but they didn't call it a fire, they called it an attack" The Chief corrected.
"We both know the king's general was the one who attacked the duke. Burning the whole house down" Ethan spoke assuming the prince was in on his father's plans.
