Daddy Issues
The subsequent few days are a blur, nothing but work, work, work. The arrival of our next batch of settlers on Tuesday and Wednesday goes off without a hitch, thank all the stars. And my new best friend Harmony has actually come in handy this week, despite her nonstop questions and the not-safe-for-work stories she shares about her mom that she definitely should not be privy to.
Given her affinity and talent for all things medical, she has taken over care of Humboldt’s ear—at least as far as cleaning and rubbing antibiotic cream onto it.
