Miko groaned in frustration as she looked at the designs before her eyes , she had 5 months before her grand opening of her Nail salon; Soul Sistas Nail & Bar and She couldn't make up her mindand it was starting to show tremendously, she had went through a few contractors because none of them understood what she wanted , with her big brother being an architect he captured everything she wanted for her salon in the design but she couldn't find a contractor who understood the design, she sighed throwing her phone against the wall.

" f**k " she shouts angrily , there goes another phone she thought to herself , she shook her head grabbing her keys and purse . " I have to stop breaking phones " " Yes you do " her bestfriend Lola said causing her to jump " Why the f**k do you do that s**t " she said picking up her phone chucking it at Lola's head " Because it's fun " Lola says laughing " One of these days Lo I'ma shoot yo ass " she says bumping her on the way out the door " Yea f*****g right " Lola rolls her eyes. 

That's just how their relationship works as bestfriends , one minute they love each other then the next they hate each other more so Lola then Miko and it's been like that since they were kids . " So where we going ?" Lola asks following behind Miko " I'm going to get my screen fixed and your going back to whatever nigga you were laid up with this morning " she says laughing " Girl Dante with his wife so you got me for the day " Lola laughs " I don't see s**t funny Lo you need to stop sleeping with these married niggas " " More like they need to stop sleeping with me . " 

Miko shook her head at her bestfriend " Either way it goes if I get married and your still doing this s**t all we won't be friends cause I'm not them I'll beat your ass from sun up to sun down ." " Well considering your still a virgin I doubt any nigga would marry you " Lola states " Coming from the walking c*m bucket who has never had a ring a day in her life I mean your pushing 30 and still haven't been proposed to let alone been on a date with a man who isn't married so get yo s**t together before you start wit me Ho-La " she snaps at her " I'm leaving so you should too I'll holla at you when I feel like hangin wit you " 

Miko locked up her shop and hopped in her car , she hated going to the Apple Store at this time of day because it stayed packed inside so instead she went back to her old hood where she knew she could get it fixed in no time. Plugging her phone into the Aux , she hit shuffle and drove off.

Miko sung along feeling every word Justin was saying and she couldn't wait to have that kind of love from a man . Arriving at her destination she turned her car off sand hopped out going to the front door doing a beat on the door . " Who is it ?" The deep voice behind the door asks " Harmony " she answers causing him to swing the door open to see if it's really her " Well I'll be damned "he says laughing " Hello to you too Vic now let me in we have business to discuss " she says moving past him into the house.

" Whatcha need ?" He questions , she sighs taking the phone out her purse showing him the screen " Damn Miko how that happen ?" He asks " I threw it against the wall because I have yet to find a contractor to finish the shop the way I need it " " I know somebody who can help you but you gotta make an appointment to see him " he says offering to help " Well first I need you to fix my screen and when your finished you can set it up the meeting for me " she says smiling " I gotcha sis " he smiles back at her .

            3:26 PM

A few hours had passed and her phone was finally finished . " I called my mans and he said he can meet now if you want " Vic says handing Miko her phone " Shoot him the directions to my shop and tell him I'll be there in 20 minutes " she says texting him the address " aight be safe Miko " he says walking her to the door " I will Vic , nice seeing you again oh and I left the money on your table " she says getting in her car " Good looking ma !" He shouted before closing the door all the way . Here goes nothing she thought to herself as she started up her car , she sent a quick prayer to lord and headed back to the shop .

Pulling into shop , her eyes land on a black hummer sitting there , this must be the dude Vic was referring too she thought , hopping out the car she went and knocked on the window causing the driver to roll down his window " Hi I'm Miko and you are ?" " Angelo " he says with a smile , his husky voice sent chills down her spine " your the contactor right ?" She asks gathering her words together " Yes ma'am " he says " Alright well follow me " she chuckles " It's a mess in there right now so please excuse everything " " it's fine that's why I'm here to help " he shops out the car " I really hope you can help me because I've gone through 3 contractors because they didn't understand the design I have " she says with disappointment

" Well look no further baby girl I'm here to save the day " he says laughing " let me get this for you " he opens the door " thanks " she smiles at him " My grandmother would turn in her grave if she knew I didn't open the door for you " he laughs " Well I thank her greatly for having a grandson who has manners " she laughs with him " Here we are my office and that there sir is the design " she says pointing to her desk . Angelo looked over the design a few times before speaking , Miko stood off to side patiently waiting to see if he could help her or not .

" When do you need this done ?" He asks " Before June 25 " she says biting the inside of her lip " I'll have it done by the end of may " he says with a smile " Really?! " she squeals " Most definitely " he says confidently " Oh thank you so much " she smiles while doing her happy dance causing him to laugh " What kind of shop is it ? " he asks " A Nail salon " she says smiling " then yea I gotcha before June " he says admiring the way she smiled while talking about her business " before we agree to this how much do you want ?" She asks " What is your budget ?" " 50 grand " " 30 gs should be fine " he says " okay when can you start ?" 

" Bright and Early Monday morning " he says stroking his beard " See you bright and early Monday morning Mr. Angelo " she says sticking her hand out " See you Monday Ms. Miko " he shakes her hand gently . " Before you go can you write your number down so I can stay in contact with you " Miko says catching his attention " Already done it's on ya desk " " Thank you " she smiles , going back to her phone.

Angelo drove off with a smile on his face and couldn't wait to see his parents and tell them the good news , it was something he did every time he lands a new job and his parents couldn't be more proud of their only son . His mind kept drifting back to when Miko knocked on his window , he had never seen a woman so beautiful before let alone a woman with grey eyes , shaking her out his mind he dialed his mothers number . 

" Yes my son " she answers " Are you guys home ?" He asks " I'm not but your father is " " Okay ma well I have good news " he says smiling into the phone " You landed another job ?" She asks with excitement " Yes mama and she's a black business woman who's opening a nail salon " he says proudly " Ooo I can't wait " she says with a happy tone " I can stop going to Lings expensive rude ass " " Bye ma " he says laughing " Alright baby love you " " Love you too gorgeous " he says hanging up the phone.

Arriving at his parents house , he seen his pops sitting on the porch like it wasn't snow on the ground , parking his car he got out and greeted his dad ." Ima tell ma that you out here wit no coat on " he says laughing " I'll whoop yo ass " he laughs with him " you must have just gotten out the dog house " he says in a questionable tone " yes and I refuse to go back so keep ya mouth shut " he says getting out the chair " What you do now Angel ?" He asks calling him by his first name " I told ya mama she needed to get her nasty ass friend out our house cause she was stinking up the living room " he answers truthfully 

" Who Ms. Lynn ?" " Yes that musty old b***h I hate her and ya mama brings her around all the time just to irritate me " he huffs " Her daughter just as bad " Angelo says laughing " damn shame " his father says shaking his head " but what brings you by son ?" Angelo smiles " I got another gig " " How much is she paying you ? " " 30 grand " he says proudly " White or black " Angel asks " A black woman " he says smiling again " Your in love " his father stated " Nah " he says laughing at his dad .

" Son listen to me when I say this okay ? That woman you met today is gone be your wife I can smell the love on you I had that same smile and aroma when I met your mother so trust and believe when I tell you that if you don't scoop her in now another man will get the blessing God sent your way " Angel says in a serious tone "But how pop ?" " What was the first thing you noticed on her ?" He asks his son " Her eyes they unique as hell " Angelo says thinking back on Miko " What color are they ?" " Grey " Angelo says stroking his beard

" What else did you notice ?" He asks " She's shy and innocent but you can tell she has some hood tendencies , they way she her voice sounds it's like talking to Angel and her smile pop I swear I saw the whole room light up " Angelo says " That my boy is love " He says smiling at his son " Be careful with her though cause she's a rare breed and not too many of her kind exist any more so take ya time with her get to know her mind so when you capture her soul it will intertwine with yours " " I hear you pops " " Good now come on and get ya ass beat in these dominoes " 

                        7 PM

Angelo had made his way home after leaving his parents house , having that talk with his dad really opened up his mind and his heart about what he said , could this really be the woman he had been searching for ? " God if it is send me another sign " he looked up at the sky and sure enough his phone had dinged .
