“Ok, don’t be nervous. This is just a formality.” I told myself as I waited to be seen for my second interview.
I already had one interview with Mr Case, now I just needed to have an interview with Evan, his son who I knew was taking over as CEO of Case Enterprises.
I have known the Cases forever. I used to be friends with Austin back in high school, but after we graduated we sort of lost touch. Plus I also married his best friend, Xavier, I don’t think Austin really accepted that.
Unfortunately I didn’t get my happily ever after with Xavier. He was a marine and he was killed in action about six months ago. I have had the hardest time handling things.
My dad is friends with Mr Case, who is trying to help me get some sense of normal life again. I need to get my life together now
