I thought about what Evan had said about Austin. Evan is sacrificing his happiness in what he wants to do for his brother.
“So where are we going?” I asked Evan.
“The beach, you came all this way, I figured you need to see the coast.” Evan smiled as he drove.
“Fabulous! I heard the sunset over the ocean is beautiful!” I said excitedly.
“It is, wait till you see it.” Evan said to ke.
After driving awhile, we finally came to a parking garage. We parked and walked across the skyway from the garage to what looked like a mini mall.
“Ah, I thought you said we were going to the beach?” I asked Evan.
“We are, this is the beach.” Evan chuckled.
“No this is a mall. Beach is sand and water. Not mom went to Florida and all I got was this tshirt store.” I told him.
