“Does she have a bag ready for the hospital?” My father asked Adam.
“In our room, in the closet. First door down the hall.” Adam said to him.
“I will make the calls to the doctor and to Laura, Jay, Austin, and I will deal with Janet. Go, don’t worry. Just bring us home baby boy.” Mitzi said.
“What about Lizzy?” Keira said, looking at her daughter in my arms.
“Keira, I got her, go have my nephew.” I told her.
My father came back with Keira’s bag and said to Adam, “I will drive, you get in the back seat with her.”
Adam nodded his head, I admit I was a little surprised seeing my dad actually being caring like with them. He wasn’t running away.
