“Laura, can you hear me?” I heard a voice say to me.
Slowly light started to filter in as I started to open my eyes. Everything seemed fuzzy to me. Almost like I was in some type of bubble.
“There you are, welcome back.” This voice said to me.
I could hear these beeping sounds. Where am I? I remember talking with Austin… oh good, where is Austin?
“Calm down, it's ok. You're in the hospital.” The voice said to me.
“Hospital?” I screeched out. My throat was so dry.
“Yes, you had a heart attack while driving. You just had surgery.” The voice told me.
