I left Jay’s condo to head back home. Tonight was not how I thought it would go when my mom asked me to go with her to Mitzi’s show to get clothing for her store.
I pulled into the driveway and went into the house. It was quiet, everyone was in bed because it was late. I went walking towards the kitchen, so I could go to the pool house to get some sleep.
The soft light from the fridge caught my attention when I walked into the room. There was Adam, getting something out the fridge.
“Hey, it is late, why are you up?” I asked him.
“Can’t sleep.” He said as opened a bottle of water.
“Too much excitement with Keira?” I asked him.
