On Monday at noon, Kristina struggled to keep her mind busy and her nerves at bay while she and Cody stood near the train station, awaiting the arrival of Cody"s parents. After another brief warming trend, the day had turned bitingly cold, and little puffs of frozen breath emanated from them and from the other people assembled to await the arrivals.
