Training

Clarissa POV Beep! Beep! Beep! The annoying sound of my alarm clock blasted into my ears, snapping me out of my sweet slumber. Groaning I jumped out of bed and landed on my feet smoothly, turning to the bedside table, the clock showed the time is 3:00 AM meaning it’s the perfect time for my secret training. I’ve been secretly training myself for the past ten years, I knew I needed to be strong and ready for when my uncle and his rogue pack finds me all hell will break loose. My trainings are basically for war, not just ordinary fighting but war because I know that old mutt and I will definitely have a fight. ‘Can we skip training today? I feel anxious, it’s as though there’s something waiting for us, like something bad is about to happen’ my wolf Emerald said hesitantly. "I know Emmy, even I feel weird, there’s something in the air, like pure dread and I can smell it’s very strong. Honestly, I wonder why the ranked members haven’t noticed or they have but are just too dumb to realize" I reply her. ‘So what now, are we still going for training? Because if something is out there and those shitty leaders are too dumb to realize or just too scared to investigate then someone has to check it out Just be discreet girl and mask your scent’. Emmy reasoned "I guess you’re right girl, but that means we have only three hours before our shift begins" I agreed with her. I quietly change my outfit which consists of black shorts and a black crop top, I put my braids into a ponytail and stealthily open my window which causes a chilly wind to blow on my face as I jump out landing steadily on my feet. I quietly walk to the woods using the night tree shadows as a cover to avoid patrols as I cross the tree line checking the borders, which turns out to be easy and I come up empty after nearly an hour. I make it back to my training spot. I usually start with warm up but I guess the border patrol I just did will have to cover for that, getting into position I start hitting the sand bag as a sparring target. I do this for thirty minutes before I start using the caricatures I set up as obstacles. One and half hour of consistent training later I’m already making my way back to my room for a quick shower and change of clothes. I have to hurry before my shift starts at the pack house which I prefer to call the p*** house since that’s what the pack future leaders have basically turned it into with their numerous girlfriends that change every two weeks.
