Xavier’s POV
“My princess….” I call to her tentatively trying to get her attention to me but she doesn’t even flinch from her.
‘WHAT THE ACTUAL F**K BROTHER’? I hear my little sister’s anger and disappointment from her roar in the mind link before I even spot her by the door but I completely ignore her and focus on my mate instead.
“My Rose” I try again but she still ignores me completely and I feel despair bubbling in the pit of my stomach but I forcefully shove the feeling down not giving up at all.
‘Alpha, how could you? If after this she’s leaving then so am I’ Cynthia threatens me with utter distaste in her tone and I don’t even feel angry nor blame her yet again I still ignore her too.
“Please mate, I’m begging you to look at me just once Princess” I try again willing my voice
