Hades' Ultimatum

Xavier Jeremiah’s POV

We both lay there quietly trying to catch our breath after I pulled out of her a**hole , after a few moments Briana stands and get dressed before turning to me with a contented smile on her face.

“See you around Xavier” she says waving at me before leaving my chambers.

You see that’s the thing with Briana, once were done f****** she disappears and never bothers me for again till next time either of us is horny or in need of a release.

No unnecessary conversations, just bam! Bam! Bam! And bye we both know and understand the meaning of the phrase f**k buddies best.

I hoped off the couch and headed back into the bathroom for another quick shower when a thought suddenly crossed my mind.

‘what if my mate despises and rejects me if I find her because of my s****l escapades with Briana and decides I’m not good enough’ I ask myself

'If mate rejects us because of of your stupid actions then you better believe I'll leave your a** forever human, I feel her and she's hurt' Hades states with a death glare.

That surprised me, and I also felt hurt by his words. We were supposed to be one and we maintain that almost all the time.

I also realized that Hades had become distant since I started messing around with Briana, I had hurt the one I was never supposed to hurt.

'What do you mean you feel her and she's hurt? That's impossible right?'. I question him doubtfully.

He just huffs and completely ignore my question, leaving me with so many questions with no answers.

I hop out of the shower and throw on some faded jeans with a brown T-shirt and my black boots then grab two more casual outfits with one formal wear from my closet.

I've made up my mind, my actions have been selfish and i have no excuse for hurting my lycan he comes first. For now.

I thought as I grab my travel bag and arrange my outfits inside perfectly.

‘Chris, bring the car upfront and come retrieve my stuff from my room, were going on a small trip’ I mind link my driver/bodyguard.

‘Yes my lord, do you have any other specific requirements for this trip sire?’ He immediately replied my link as usual, very efficient.

‘You might want to pack up some personal stuff for yourself, casual and formal’ I replied him

‘Alright Sire’ His reply came almost immediately.

‘Guys, please meet me in the study within five minutes’ I linked my Beta and Gamma.

‘Okay X, we’ll be right there’ came my gamma’s reply.

‘I’m sorry X I’ll be there in ten, Kate’s been anxious the whole day’ Ashton my Beta replied

Ashton is mated to my little sister Kate and they’re expecting their first Pup so his reply got me a little worried.

'What’s making her anxious? Hope it’s not serious man’ I linked him back worriedly.

‘I’ll explain more once I get her to bed’ He replied wearily making me more worried,

‘Alright’ I replied him.

Once I cut the link with Ash Chris nocks and enter my room to retrieve my stuff before bowing to me which I reply with a nod and he quietly leaves the room.

I check my pants pocket and realize that I don’t have my wallet so I walk back to the closet and find it in one of the empty compartments that’s supposed to have my mate’s stuff, seeing it empty makes my stomach clench painfully.
