Ghostly Dreams

988 Words
Without warning, a rush of memories flooded back to Coby. It was as if a thin veil had been lifted, transporting him back in time. The old manor felt so familiar to him, with its marble floors and high chandeliers. Laughter filled the air, echoing through the rooms, and he could almost feel the warmth of the past seeping into his bones. The moment their eyes locked, Coby and Gracie felt an unspoken affection flow between them. Coby’s gaze then drifted to the grand hallway, where young Ewan, his face speckled with freckles, attempted to sneak a slice of birthday cake. Unbeknownst to him, the ethereal trinity of apparitions lingered nearby, drawn to the joyous celebrations. As Ewan’s chubby fingers closed around the tempting slice of cake, Jane’s ghostly figure sucked in a breath, her presence captivating. With a soft exhale, she extinguished the flickering flames atop the chocolaty birthday cake. The icy air from her spectral breath brushed against Ewan’s fingertips, causing him to gasp in terror, his primal scream piercing the once-happy atmosphere. In the haunting aftermath, Coby could still hear the echoes of the ethereal trio’s laughter ringing in his ears. “Dad?” Ewan asked, his voice trembling with uncertainty, jolting Coby back to the reality. The gentle pitter-patter of raindrops filled the room, creating a soothing white melody. Coby’s eyes met Ewan’s, and he smiled warmly, feeling the reassurance in the connection between them. “Yes, son.” Ewan glanced cautiously over his shoulders, his gaze darting anxiously around the room. “Sometimes, I see her in my sleep,” Ewan confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. “And we do stuff, like stuff adults do, like on television. And when I wake up, the bed is wet with like—” Coby’s heart skipped a beat, but he quickly composed himself. “It’s fine!” he cut in, his voice steady and reassuring. “It’s just a wet dream. Welcome to manhood, my son.” Ewan’s face lit up with relief, and their laughter echoed throughout the room. Gracie, who had been anxiously listening from the living room, heard their joyful laughter and felt a sense of relief, knowing it was safe to return. Her footsteps eagerly thudded down the hallway, the sound echoing through the stately house. As Gracie walked in, her chest tightened with anticipation and her heart raced. Her eyes, glistening with unshed tears, scanned the scene before her. Coby and Ewan sat there, their laughter creating a warm aura that enveloped the room. A sense of serenity washed over Gracie as she took in the sight of her two favourite people sharing such a genuine and heartfelt moment. The weight of her worries and burdens dissolved, leaving behind a profound feeling of love and belonging. The rain, now intensifying, tapped insistently against the windows, creating a symphony of emotions that mirrored the trio’s connection. The room seemed to come alive with the energy of their shared laughter. Gracie’s footsteps, once heavy with anxiety, now danced with a newfound lightness as she approached the two men in her life. Her hand reached out instinctively, seeking the comfort of Coby’s touch. Their fingers intertwined, sending a surge of affection pulsing through their bodies. In that moment, as raindrops danced on the rooftop and laughter filled the air, the kitchen became a sanctuary of love, where fears were cast aside and the weight of the past was lifted. They stood united against the unknown, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, fortified by the unspoken bond that had blossomed between them. Gracie lay still in bed, her senses heightened by the enveloping darkness of the night. She stared up at the intricate patterns on the ceiling, frustration and fascination mixing in her mind. In the distance, the soft moans and groans of Coby and Ewan carried through the air. A testament to the pleasure they were experiencing in their dreams. The names they murmured in their sleep echoed in her mind, intensifying her restlessness. The wind danced through their hair as they stood on the cliff’s edge. They looked out over the vast expanse of the ocean, its salty aroma filling their nostrils. Two lifeless rabbits lay beside them, their heads perfectly pierced by a single shot. Ewan’s eyes roamed over the stunning woman in his dreams, her delicate nightwear fluttering in the strong breeze. She brushed the tendrils of hair away from her face, revealing a shy smile that held a mischievous curve. As they leaned in for a kiss, anticipation filled the air, only for Ewan’s excitement to fade away in a sticky mess. “Yuck,” he exclaimed, his eyes snapping open. In the library, Coby’s dream woman sat beside him, her presence captivating and her beauty undeniable. She looked eerily similar to Gracie, but her lifeless eyes revealed the truth. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, its silky strands brushing against his arm. Her laughter filled the room, accompanied by the deepening of her dimples. He watched her elegant fingers as they gracefully flipped through the pages of a thick journal, the sound of paper rustling adding to the atmosphere. With each turn of the page, Coby’s anticipation grew, and his lips moistened in response. As he typed, narrating their story, her fingers lightly rested on his leg, tracing the intricate patterns on his thigh. The gentle touch sent shivers down his spine, heightening his excitement. His fingers glided effortlessly across the keyboard, capturing every detail of her grace. Their eyes locked, the intensity palpable, as her smile disarmed him. She leaned in, her lips velvety and moist, pressing against his. With a groan, Coby released his excitement in a series of convulsions. “Oh no,” he said, his eyes snapping open, feeling the throbbing and stickiness in his palm. Beside him, Gracie couldn’t contain her mirth, and her giggles echoed through the room.
