CHAPTER 6: A DANGEROUS JOB One evening before nightfall, Melanie went in a bar, which was already full – people were drinking and having fun. She asked the bartender: “Hi. Is Jason working tonight?” “Jason?” “Yeah – Jason Hawkins. He works here, right?” “Oh, yeah, Jason… No, not for about four month now.” “Four months?!” “Yeah, he was not bad, you know – he knew the job, he was skilled, but he didn’t wanna work.
