CHAPTER 24:
THE MYSTERY REVEALED
In a few moments the door bell rang.
“Are you expecting somebody else?” said Liz.
“It’s probably Nicky.” said Melanie.
“Didn’t you just spoke with her on the phone? Isn’t she back home?” said Kevin.
“Maybe she wanted to surprise me. She’s kinda weird, you know...”
She went to open the door and...
“Hello.” said Leivern, dressed in his denorian clothes (and in human form, of course).
“You?!” said Melanie a little startled.
“I need to talk to you... all of you.”
He and the humans went in the backyard, where it was dark, and the big fence and the bushes around it blocked the visibility from the neighbor houses. But when the two dogs saw Leivern (or smelled him), they started to bark nervously.
