I’d been looking forward to this for a while. It had been too long since I’d spent any real time with Charlie, and I wanted to make sure we had the chance to connect with my side of the family. The last few weeks had been... complicated, to put it lightly. But he’s my son, and he needs to get to know his other family, the one he’s a part of on my side.
