The bustling streets of London buzzed with life as Theo, Charlie, and I walked hand in hand. The crisp autumn air carried the warm scent of roasted chestnuts from nearby vendors, and the vibrant fall leaves crunched beneath our feet. Charlie was practically skipping alongside us, his excitement contagious as he took in the iconic sights around him.
“Look, Mommy! There’s Big Ben!” he exclaimed, his finger pointing eagerly at the towering clock tower, its gothic architecture framed against a brilliantly blue sky.
I smiled, my heart swelling with happiness at Charlie’s joy. “Yes, sweetheart! And if you look over there, you can see the London Eye. Isn’t it beautiful?” I watched as Charlie’s eyes widened, taking in the giant Ferris wheel, which sparkled in the afternoon sun like a jewel.
