"Does anybody know what pie equals, or did you guys forget already?" My teacher Mrs. Jackson frowns.

Mike raised his hand laughing as he smiled at his friends.

"Mr. Murking."

" Strawberry Pie equals a happy Mike," Mike and his friends all busted out laughing holding their stomachs.

"Um hm" Mrs. Jackson just waited until they became silent. They shut up after a minute or two.

"Do you know what makes Mrs. Jackson happy?" she asked smirking.

"Umm... Mike doesn't want to answer that." Mike stifled a little laugh still talking in 3rd person limited.

"Umm hmm" she shuck her head "I will see you in detention Mr. Murking."

"It's a date" Mike blew a kiss at Mrs. Jackson.

"Great I hope you don't mind my husband joining us?" She smirked.

"Not at all!" Mike smirked back.

"It can be a three way." And with that he stud up and walked out of the classroom.

"Anybody else?" She asked. "April! Care to answer?"

"Do I have to?" I asked moaning in annoyance.

"3.14" I snapped "say 'yes' another damn time and I will hurt you so bad that you might actually take Mike up on his offer." I snapped feeling the tug in my mind stretch even worse than before. It was there...

I wanted to scream in complete frustration. Then to add on to the tugging I kept thinking about my brother who tried to disown me! Correction HE DID disown me!

"April don't use that language in my class room." Mrs. Jackson snapped.

"Whatever" I mumbled putting my head down... It hurt like hell.

"Actually Mrs. Jackson?" I held my head up again.

"Yes April?"

"Can I go to the nurse?" I asked rubbing my temples.

"Sure." She just shuck her hand. And nodded towards the door.

I got up grabbing my books and went to my locker.

I put my combination in and shoved my text books inside my neatly organized locker.

The school was different when class is in process. All of the student were in the classrooms leaving the halls silent. This soothed my headache, not much, but it was still a relief.

The nurses door was up the hallway. As I was walking towards the nurses office a door opened and my brother steps out. Yes, in case you were wondering THE ONE (and only) BROTHER WHO DISOWNED ME!

"April?" Asher asked closing the principals door behind him.

"why aren't you in class?" He asked, he sniffed the air and stiffened, just like he did this morning.

"My head is killing me... But it's not like you care." I scoff and kept walking back towards the nurses.

"I'm going to the nurses to, so I will go with you." Asher walked beside me, or kinda. Asher was walking on the other side of the hallway.

It was only then did I notice his nose was bleeding... blood had dried, but was still flowing.

"What happened to your nose?!" I gasped.

"Fight" he mumbled running his hand through his hair.

"With who?!" I screamed.

"Jeremy banks" he hissed cracking his knuckles.

"The alpha's son!?" I looked Asher over and over again, but the only damage that seemed to be done was his nose. This was surprising Jeremy doesn't play around... when he's in a fight he finishes it, and it ends in puddle of blood.

I hurriedly opened the door for Asher to walk in, but in the process the door slammed into somebody. there was a thud and the door stopped mid-way.

"Oh my gosh I'm so-" I sucked in a sharp breath and gasped. Jeremy stumbled back and fell on the floor. I took this moment to take in his injuries.

Jeremy moaned and held an ice pack to his swollen black eye's, his once perfect toned skin was now a shade of purple and black. He had patched wounds that were bleeding through the bandaids

His wrist was wrapped up in bandaids. Ok, out of all Jeremy looked ROUGH.

He squinted through his swollen eye lids and took a sharp intake of breath.

"Sorry April." he mumbled in one whoosh of air. A loud growl from behind me was his sign to leave. He scurried up and squeezed by Asher then ran. Yes he RAN. Jeremy ran so fast he was only a blur.

"Asher?" The nurse squeaked. she was a young nurse... only 25 and even she wasn't immune to Asher's "hotness"

"What happened?" She didn't wait for him to answer. "I heard you shifted last night.." *cough* "any luck on finding a mate?" She batted her eyelashes.

"Umm." Was Asher's brilliant answer.

"Umm?" She asked her shoulders tensed.

"No"

Ouch... Hearing him say that hurt a little... why?

'Tug' there it was again! Damn tug that's giving me a headache.

Ugh! The headache hurt so much I almost wanted to cry... Wait no... I did cry.

A warm tear trickled down my cheek.

"April!" Asher was by me faster than the speed of light.

"I'm fine..." I gasped holding my head.

"Are you sure?" Asher's minty breath fanned my face and made the 'tug' stretch even farther.

"Asher!" The nurse frantically hissed "we need to set your nose back before we worry about April, your bleeding, she's not!"

A loud growl ripped through the nurses office as Asher whipped around glaring at the nurse... Who's name I don't know.

"Get me a paper towel!" Asher demanded. A ripping sound echoed in the back ground, then the nurse gasped.

"what are you doing?!"

"Setting my nose back." A sudden loud crunching noise even louder than the paper towel being ripped made me cringe.

"There it stopped bleeding" he growled.

I let out a loud whimper as the 'tug' pulled on its thin rubber barrier.

"Asher I want to go home!" I cried.

The pain was horrible.

Another warm tear trickled down my cheek, I felt Asher trail his finger up my cheek, and then it suddenly happened all at once...

First sparks had lit up my cheek like fireworks soothing the pain.

"What's going on?!" The Nurse screamed.

"I-I think she's shifting?" Asher scooped me up in his arms, I sobbed and clung to his shirt. I felt my world move, and I knew Asher was carrying me. I couldn't focus... sparks had erupted through my body and soothed the pain.

I clung to Asher resting my head in the crock of his neck. Enjoying the sparks as the lit up my skin.

I didn't have time to process them at the time. I only knew that it was my pain reliever.

"I'm sorry." Asher kept whispering into my ear. "it's my fault I'm so sorry!" He mumbled.

"Asher, make it go away." I cried clinging to his shirt.

"I’m sorry babe, I can't" he whispered into my ear making me shiver.

The warm air of outside the school hit my skin. I whimpered trying to get closer to Asher.

Then it happened...

'POP' my spine cracked.

I let out an agonizing scream, I could feel it. The fluid from the c***k of my spine flowed through my body attacking my bones extending my fingernails into claws, my teeth sharpened into razor sharp points colors flashed, and my senses heightened.

"s**t!" Asher cursed, I let out another scream.

"I can't put you in the car!" He whispered.

"Do it!" I yelled I wanted to get to the pack woods as soon as I could.

I felt his arms loosen on me as he tried to lower me into the seat.

"No!" I cried out grasping Asher closer to me... even though my eyes were clinched close. "April-"

"Asher hold me!" I cried, another loud c***k from my ribs, and I was sitting in Asher's lap with him whispering in my ear while driving.

"Baby I'm so sorry." he kissed my forehead... In a not so brotherly fashion... And you know when Asher has that moment where he was slightly "normal".

My eyes flew open and I stared at Asher's Chiseled jaw line and blue and grey eyes. "your my brother." I whispered.

"No, actually I don't know what I am." He looked down at me for a minute his face full of confusion.

"Oh-" I let out another ear piercing scream and clung to my 'brother?'

My ear started to point and stretch... I was turning into a wolf.

And then like the Miracle of life... Painful yet fascinating... I heard her. My wolf, she was exactly like me, she fit my personality like milk and Oreos.

"Do you know how hard it was to break through that dumb barrier?" She hissed at me. HA like she's mad at me? She's the one who decided I would be an early shifter! This only happens if you find your mate!

"Do you know how painful this is?" I hiss back letting out another scream I felt sparks light up my cheek. My wolf purred at the touch.

"Asher, I'm yours." my lips moved, but those weren't my words those were my wolfs!

"I know" Asher sounded smooth you could just hear the smirk that played on his lips.

Suddenly the car stopped and I felt myself once again feel the outside air.

"Take it away please." I cried... at least my thought were calm.

"I'm taking you to the woods...your almost done with the transformation." Asher whispered in my ear his minty breath fanned over my face.

"Oh our poor baby!" I heard my mom yell from a distance... my eyes had been shut so I was relying on my heightened senses.

I felt hands lay on my arm then a growl ripped through Asher's chest making me snuggle even closer to him.

"Don't touch her." He hissed at our parents.

"Why?" Asked dad sounding amused "didn't you disown her?!" He hissed at Asher making him tense up.

"I didn't mean it!" Asher mumbles. "I have been going through stuff you could never dream of going through." Asher adds.

"Oh shifting!" Dad pesters Asher. "I have only been doing it since I was 17."

"Shut up." Asher hissed.

"Do you want us to be here with you April?" My mom asked me sounding hopeful.

I shuck my head 'NO'

"Ok, Asher lay her down and-" he growled.

"I'm going to be there for her shift... she wants me to be there believe me!" He hissed tightening his arms around my body. I sighed then screamed.

"More than her own parents?" My mom questioned Asher... I wish I could talk without crying and screaming because I would tell them that I only wanted him... I didn't quite understand why but I wanted more than just his touch...

"Yes"

"Prove it!" dad growled.

"Do we really have time for this?" Asher hissed.

"Yes" both my parents yelled.

It was silent... then all of a sudden in a booming voice Asher ordered mom and dad to LEAVE. what's more surprising is they agreed and left.

My body couldn't take much more drawn out pain... this had to be the longest shift ever!

"Don't worry April I'm here for you." He whispered in my ear. I took a sharp intake of breath. The most amazing scent filled my nose. Mint and pine sap.

"Our mate... Asher's ours..." My wolf purred... and then it hit me... did she just say mate? My brother... Asher? MY BROTHER?! No, no, no, no! WHAT?!

I let out a Final scream and then suddenly it was over. My bones all snapped at once my face turned into the one of a wolfs. I walked on four paws. And my mate sat beside me admiring my wolf with the cutest smile ever...wait... Brother.
