I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Finally, all of the baggage that I had been carrying my entire life was about to be laid plain to these sisters in arms. This whole time I had felt heavy and mistreated. I was sick of being hit, of being touched, of being abused, and of being viewed as not worth anything.
