Lily
We sit in Luca’s car with a comfortable silence surrounding us for about an hour before we pull up to a building that looks like a restaurant.
“Where are we?” I ask him with a confused expression.
“You’ll see.”
He gives me a dazzling smile and tells me to wait for a minute. He jumps out of the car and runs around to my side, using his Werewolf speed of course. He opens the door and extends his hand to me.
“You know, I could have done that myself. But, thank you.” I give him a small smile and take his hand happily stepping out of the car.
We walk into the building and it turns out my guess had been right. It’s a really nice restaurant. The hostess takes us to a table outside on a deck where music is playing and people are dancing slowly in the center on a small stage.
We sit at a small table across from each other and I just keep smiling. After we order Luca stands up and comes over to stand next to me.
“May I have this dance?” He holds his hand out to me in a gentleman like way.
I chuckle. “I don’t know how to dance, but thanks for offering.”
“Oh, come on. We danced together when we were little.” He smiles softly at the memory.
“We were five years old.” I laugh thinking about when we ‘danced’ with each other when we were little.
It could hardly have been considered dancing though. We kept tripping over each other's feet and swinging in circles. But it was fun.
“Come on, it can’t be that hard.” He smiles at me with a sparkle in his eyes.
“Do you even know how to dance?” I ask, trying and failing to hide my smile.
“Well, no. But how hard can it be? It’s just swaying back and forth.” His smile doesn’t falter as he says this, brimming with confidence the whole time.
“OK, but I warned you.” He gives me a megawatt smile as I gently take his outstretched hand.
A new song starts to play when we reach the small stage at the center of the deck. I don’t know how he did it or what happened, but the song is the same one we ‘danced’ to when we were little. It also happens to be my parents' wedding song. Tears started to come to my eyes and threaten to fall when the lyrics start and Luca softly sings along next to my ear.
It’s amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain what I hear when you don’t say a thing
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There’s a truth in your eyes saying you’ll never leave me
A touch of your hand says you’ll catch me if I ever fall
Now you say it best when you say nothing at all
All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near you drown out the crowd
Old Mister Webster could never define
what's being said between your heart and mine

We stayed like that, swaying back and forth, until the song ended. I had tears streaming down my face by the end and Luca knew it. He tenderly takes my cheeks in his hands and smoothly wipes away the tears. I look him in the eyes and say what’s on my mind.
“I love you Luca.” He looks a little surprised but smiles and kisses me deeply.
“I love you too.”
We dance to a couple more songs and then go back to our table to eat. We stay at the restaurant talking about the good old days and enjoying each other's company for a couple more hours before Luca says we need to get going.
Third-person POV
Unknown to Lily and Luca, someone was watching them dance and laugh together.
“What is that girl doing? She’s supposed to be distressed, not out on a date with her mate. I could’ve sworn she was crying in one of the bathrooms earlier. What the hell happened? I need to check in with the boss, but she is not going to like this.”
And with that, the stranger went off in the night to inform their higher up of what they seen that night.
Lily
After a while we left the restaurant, but Luca wasn’t driving towards the packhouse. “Where are we going?”
“To part two of our date.”
“Part two?” He smiles at me and takes my hand in his and puts them in his lap as we continue down the road to do whatever Luca has planned in that crazy mind of his.

He keeps driving for about half an hour before stopping and pulling over to the side of the road near a dark building. He tells me to wait in the car for a minute. I give him a weird look again.
“You know, I can open my own door.”
He laughs at that. “No, it’s not that this time.
“OK, then what is it?” He chuckles again.
“Just be patient.” I pout a bit to try and get him to break. It didn’t work though.
“Fine,” I say. He kisses my cheek softly and climbs out of the car, going off to do who knows what.
After a minute he comes back and opens my door. “Come on.”
I look up at him with curiosity in my eyes and take hold of his outstretched hand once again. I was getting rather impatient though.
“Can you tell me now?”
“Just wait.” He keeps cracking-up at my impatience, but I can’t help it. I don’t like surprises very much, especially considering the way I was raised. That might even be the main reason, I’m not really sure.
Anyways, Luca pulls me by my hand into the dark building we had parked next to. I’m not really sure where we are or if Luca can even tell where he’s going, but we keep going until he stops a few seconds later and lets go of my hand.
“Luca?”
“I’m right here, just stay calm. I need to find where the light switch is.”
I heard him bump into something and curse under his breath. “Damn it!”
I couldn’t help but laugh. I don’t think he much appreciated that though.
“Haha, very funny. That hurt.” As he says this he seems to have finally found a light switch and flips it on. What I found was nothing I had expected.
“Luca, where are we?”
What I found was…
Luca
We just left the restaurant and I’m taking Lily to the place I had initially planned on taking her to when I asked her out yesterday. It’s about an hour from the restraint we were just at, but still inside the territory.
I don’t think she’s going to be expecting this at all.
When we finally get there I tell her to wait in the car so I can make sure everything is set up, then I come back and take her inside. She seems to be getting pretty impatient and I can’t help but laugh at her. However, that seems to make her a bit angry with me.
Anyways, once we get inside I try to find a light switch, but I think that stupid thing moved every time I got close to it. I end up hitting my knee on a small table and curse under my breath, then I hear Lily laughing at me.
“Haha, very funny, That hurt.” At that point I finally find the stupid light switch and turn it on to reveal the new house I got set up for us to live in.
She definitely didn’t expect it. I heard her gasp behind me and turn to find her looking around in wonder, probably more than a bit confused as to why we’re in a random house.
“Luca, where are we?”
I smile at her and say the words that I’ve been wanting to say all night.
“Welcome home.”
Lily
“I don’t understand. What do you mean 'welcome home'?”
“I mean this is ours.” He’s joking, he has to be.
‘I don’t think he’s joking, look at him.’ She’s right he’s way too excited and nervous to be joking.
“But how?” I ask, confused as I continue to look around.
“Well, this is a spare house no one in the pack uses so I talked my Dad into letting us move in. What do you think?” I’m surprised and a little confused at the same time but…
“It’s amazing! I can’t believe you did this!”
You can tell the house is really nice just from looking at the room we’re in. It’s the living room, it has a really nice leather loveseat, a few La-Z-Boy chairs, and a huge flat screen TV with a few different game consoles set up.
I see him release a breath he must have been holding in for a while out of the corner of my eye.
“That's a relief.” He whispers to himself.
“So, do I get a tour?” I ask him playfully, a bit excited.
“Of course.” With that he starts to take me around the house. However, before we get too far I ask him a question.
“What about my brothers? Where are they going to be living?” He looks at me with a crooked smile.
“Well, the house has two floors. So I was thinking they might move in with us.” He tells me this with a bit of hesitation as he rubs the back of his neck.
“What do you think?” He asks softly.
“I think that it’s a great idea. But are you sure you're OK with that?” I’m a little worried he doesn’t really want that kind of arrangement, but I don’t want to just dump them off on someone else and have them thinking I just abananded them.
“Of course. I know how much they mean to you, and how much they need you in return.” Me and Molly both think the same thing at the same time.
Aww, he’s so sweet.
“I love you.” He smiles and comes close to my side.
“Shall we?” He holds his arm out to me and I take it without hesitation.
He continues to show me around the house, and it’s huge. The first floor including the living room, has a bathroom in the main hall, a huge master bedroom with its own bathroom that has a huge soaker tub, a walk-in closet big enough to fit like 15 people, a huge flat-screen that's even bigger than the one in the living room, a king size bed with beautiful night stands on each side, and a vanity. Then there are three more smaller bedrooms that each have a walk-in closet but only one with a bathroom and pretty much the same setup only Queen sized beds; then there is a really nice kitchen with a marble island with a stove, two pizza ovens, a really nice dishwasher, and a huge refrigerator along with a few other things that are normally in a kitchen.
The basement floor has three rooms but they're not as big as the ones upstairs and a full sized basketballl court; theres another really nice living room that is a bit smaller than the one upstairs, which is still massive, with a flat screen, a leather couch, a couple more La-Z-Boys, and more game consoles; then there is a bathroom, a small kitchen that is pretty much just a sink, fridge, and stove, and then a sliding glass door that leads out back to a huge yard that goes to the tree line.
We go back upstairs and sit on the comfy leather loveseat together, talking more about the house.
“So, do you like it?” He asks me.
“I think it’s perfect. Maybe even a little too perfect.” I say, speaking my honest opinion. I’m still amazed by the sheer beauty and size of the house.
“We can start packing in the morning if you want?”
“Sounds good.” A question comes to mind all of a sudden and I have to ask him.
“Do the boys know about this place yet?”
“No, I thought you might want to surprise them.” He answers with his eyes closed, sleep starting to take him.
We both yawn and, not long after, fall asleep leaning on each other. Cuddled into the comfy couch.
