|Kairos| The moment I stepped inside my room, darkness enveloped me like a suffocating shroud. I didn’t bother turning on the lights—what was the point? The only illumination came from the moonlight streaming through the windows, casting silver streaks across the floor. The moon was full tonight, luminous and unyielding, but even its glow did nothing to settle the storm raging inside me. Without hesitation, I made my way to the sofa and sank into it.
