|Nieves| The moment I stepped into the dining hall, my breath hitched in my throat. The grandeur of the room was unlike anything I had seen before. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings of floral patterns intertwined with celestial symbols, while towering columns stretched up to meet a ceiling so masterfully painted it looked as though the night sky had been captured and preserved within these walls. The chandelier overhead wasn’t like the crystalline ones I had seen in some mansions and…hotel. Instead, it was made of intertwining gold and silver branches, each supporting small orbs of glowing light, like captured stars suspended in the air.
