Chapter 7
The rest of the week went on without a hitch, the two enjoyed the city, went to festivals, and enjoyed the many wonderful restaurants that Syracuse had to offer. The day Gail left however was bittersweet, Jackson missed her woman immensely already and the last kiss before she left was a hard pill to swallow.
The upside was that Jackson would be traveling back home in two weeks and the look that covered Gail’s face when Jackson told her was priceless. Work on the other hand was not getting any better.
The same rude and bullying behavior was going on and each day that passed infuriated Jackson to the core, mainly because it was management that was at the center of it all. She dared anyone to speak to her in the tones she had witnessed in her time there.
