As Jackson wrote the email, she felt free, as if a burden had been lifted from her shoulders. She would have preferred this conversation be in person, but Brenda had extended her vacation and would not be in the office until later that week. Jackson however was ready to deliver the message now, regardless of if it was in person or in an email.
