"Alexander is just a way for your sister to get the Carter name," Nicholas said, once again feeling nothing but disdain for Alexander. "I asked Matthew once what he expected from Alexander."
"What did he say?" Isabelle asked, curious.
"He said, as long as Alexander doesn't cause any major damage to the Carter family, that's enough. He just wants his son to stay safe and healthy." Nicholas shrugged.
