I step away from the window, wrecking my brain to remember. Elsie has been found. Does she even know that Aaron is dead? She has to know; it has been five years. But who told her if everyone at Silver Shadow thought she was still missing?
“They are coming in, let’s move,” Austin rushes us away from the windows.
“I’ll meet you there,” I shout over my shoulder as I walk to the kitchen. “I am asking Nova to get the drinks ready.”
Once in the kitchen, I take a few deep breaths to calm myself. There is an urgency within me that I cannot explain.
“Luna, do you need something?” Nova asks shyly.
“Our visitors have arrived,” I pull myself together. “There’s seven of them. Please bring some ice, glasses and a variety of drinks to the living room. Do you have someone to help?”
