Plus, there are hunters on the loose and a pack to protect. “Alpha,” Piper enters the room and walks to Mason. “We’ve managed to capture five hostages. They are being transported to the dungeon as we speak.” “Thank you,” Mason acknowledges her with a nod. “Please arrange for a clean-up crew here first thing tomorrow morning.” “Yes, Alpha,” she bows lightly. “What do you want us to do with the bodies?” “Bury them,” Mason replies. “There’s too many to leave them for authorities to find and call it an accident.” Piper looks once at my mother with admiration before she walks out.
