11:45 pm Zeenat stood in the dimly lit room, the silence only broken by the soft hum of the air conditioner. Ishaq lay in bed, scrolling through his phone with a detached expression. The glow from the screen cast a faint light on his face, highlighting the indifferent look in his eyes. "Zeenat, you shouldn't have sent Nadeen away," he said, not bothering to look up. His voice was steady, but there was a strange undercurrent—something that made Zeenat's skin prickle. "If not for anything else, she's your sister. You could have just let her spend the night." Zeenat's heart tightened, but she kept her expression neutral, crossing her arms as she approached the bed. "So you want me to let her stay? So she can accuse you again?" She sat beside him, her eyes narrowing as she studied his face.
