At around eight o’clock Ani showered, dried her hair, now the length of her ankles, and got into a simple long emerald gown. She made sure it was cheap, because knowing Kakashi, it would be shredded before the night was out. She blushed remembering the first time he had used his kunai on her. Kakashi ordered drinks and a meal and for the next hour or so, they simply sat and enjoyed each other’s company. After they had finished, Kakashi stood up and offered Ani his arm. Tenzo looked at him. “What do you mean?” “I’d marry her.” Tenzo looked at him shocked. “Then I’m glad we’re married to our work.” Kakashi looked at him. “You’d have a real fight on your hands. I should’ve married her when I had the chance.” Kakashi shook his head. “We’re damned fools.” Tenzo thought about it for a moment, a shocked look on his face. “Kakashi, what if she does get married?” “God help the man who tries.” Kakashi growled.
