EIRA’S POV
Everything was happening too fast before I could process anything.
I was just being dragged by Aldric into a van, and the next minute Kellen and Lucien appeared. All the fear and terror I had been feeling was beginning to dissipate slowly at the sight of them.
I watched, heart racing as they ran towards us, with Kellen right in front. He didn’t waste any time as he drove a punch into Aldric’s jaw. Aldric stumbled back, a curse leaving his lips as his grip on me loosened just for a split second.
I almost fell, as my legs were too weak to keep my balance. But before I did, Lucien was already by my side, catching me before I hit the floor. I gasped, our eyes meeting.
“You’re fine, I’ve got you,” he says, his voice strained.
I grabbed a hold of Lucien’s jacket before I could
