LUCIEN’S POV I should’ve been in the meeting room, but curiosity got the best of me. I walked over to the door, pushing the double doors open. When I stepped in, I froze, my heart dropping to the bottom of my chest. It didn’t take long for me to feel how thick the air in the room was, or how sharp the tension felt.
