LUCIEN’S POV
The fact that Kellen was walking beside me into the school building came as a huge surprise to me.
Due to the state of his mental health, and now he had skipped a whole week of school, seeing him now was shocking. His hair was uncombed and disheveled, falling over his eyes in a scattered way. His beard was overgrown and unkempt. From the way the dark circles under his eyes were thick, I knew he had barely slept for days. I could see a slight hollow in his cheeks, signifying that food was a foreign concept to him.
I slowed my steps as I watched him intently.
The past few weeks had been rough for us...for him. Unlike him, I was able to handle my emotions well. Kellen was never good at hiding how he felt. He wore his emotions on his skin, and now they were the very thing tea
