EIRA’S POV Despite the drama happening in school, I tried my best to ignore it and continue my normal routine. Classes and practice, but I began to focus more on my hockey practices. As I actively took practice more seriously, I began to feel a change. My body was beginning to move differently than before. I was faster, sharper and more aware of my surroundings as I played. Every spin, every defense landed cleaner than before. My mock control had increased, and my balance on the ice was close to perfection.
