EIRA’S POV The cafeteria buzzed loudly like it always did. Voices overlapped, trays clattered as people carried food, laughter echoing from nearby tables. Lucien, Kellen and I took a seat at our usual table, placing our trays down in front of us. Today was better than yesterday. There was no dizziness threatening to overwhelm me, there was no heaviness in my limbs and I couldn’t feel the usual weakness that made my knees buck underneath me. Maybe I had been overreacting about the whole thing, maybe there was nothing wrong with me. I was definitely just tired from camp and the strenuous classes. I couldn’t help but smile to myself at how energetic I felt. “I’m okay,” I muttered. Kellen chopped up an apple into a few tiny pieces and slid the plate towards me. Lucien refilled my drink
