EIRA’S POV I paced around my room, my eyes darting at the wall clock every second. Ares had texted me earlier in the day, saying he would send the location for our meet-up. That ruined my entire day. Even as I ate breakfast, I couldn’t help but ruminate about what was going to happen to me. I couldn’t finish my breakfast, or eat lunch since my appetite had flown out the window. I had thought about running away, or telling someone, but those options seemed pointless. Where could I possibly run to? If I ran away, Ares would definitely post the video.
