EIRA’S POV Ares held a look of indifference on his face as his eyes met mine. He rose up from the ground slowly, a detached look flickering through his eyes. I furrowed my eyebrows, unsure of what he was going to do or say. “Is that all I need to do?” My eyes widened slightly and I blinked. “Um, yes, that’s all.” Ares turned around and began to walk towards the large courtyard at the center of the entire school. My eyes grew wider, awe running through me. Was he actually going to do it? My legs moved before I could even think. I took long strides, hoping I could catch up with Ares, who was practically running now. I laughed dryly, unable to believe what was happening.
