The school hallway had never felt so suffocating.
The moment I stepped foot into the school building, I could feel it. The way the air tensed around me, the stares I got the second people noticed I was around. And of course, the whispers.
They knew. Everyone knew that my ‘relationship’ with the princes was over, and now, my life was going to be a living hell.
I grabbed the strap of my bag even tighter as I trudged down the hallway. Each step felt like heavy weights were being placed on my shoulder, making it hard to walk. With a lump forming in my throat, I managed to reach my locker.
