“What do you want?” Nick said as he pulled his covers over his face. “Come on, Nick! My brother is going to be here any minute now.” Tommy said. After hearing that, Nick jumped up out of bed and was ready to go in a matter of minutes; he would do anything to keep on Tommy’s good side, though I never understood why—it wasn’t like any of us were going to be back the following year. But, oh well. Tommy then rushed over to Chubs’ bed and was just getting ready to kick it when he noticed that Chubs was already gone from his bed. “Anybody know where Chubs ran off to?” he asked. I didn’t have any idea where he had run off to, and neither did Nick. “Forget about Chubs right now. Let’s just hurry up and go,” Tommy said. Tommy was in such a hurry that he pretty much pushed us out the cabin door.
