Walking inside the busiest and biggest public hospital in the Nairobi city is not for the faint of heart. It is a place where every person you meet is either dying, looking for a second opinion after having been told they were dying somewhere else, or they have just received the news of the passing of their loved one. Sorrow, pain and tears are what meets you everywhere you go. The long lines, angry patients and ever running family members are just but a few traits of the Kenyatta National hospital. That is not all of it though, ignorant nurses, dirty floors and crowded halls will make you feel like you are healed even when you are standing with one foot in heaven.
