Alessia's POV “Down!” I didn’t think—I moved. Dante’s arm wrapped around my waist and dragged me backward just as the first shot was fired through the hallway. A second before, my head was right where that bullet just blew up, sending dust and little bits flying everywhere. All of a sudden, everything was loud and shadows were running in different directions.
