What is she doing to me?

Dani’s POV

As we all sat down all I could do was go over everything I said in the court over and over to make sure no slip ups no leverage nothing they can use against me or him I mean I know I got this case in the bag but I still get a little nervous every time we have to wait for a decision. The suspense kills me every time but I was pulled out of my head when I heard the sound of the gavel hit the table.

This may be one of the shortest cases I’ve ever judged but I found out some things during this case so therefore I announce Adonis Marco Black Not guilty. As I heard those words my heart skipped a beat, we won? I could see the small smile on Adonis’s face as we rose up to leave while the judge sentenced the young man who made the accusations. Adonis and I made our way home, yes,home but not before getting my dogs. I missed them so much I got them new toys and beds sent to our other home. They seemed to like his dogs which made me happy but we left them outside to play. As I began to cook I made some Ossobuco. I got one of my men to send the food here. I know my men are so tired of me making them run errands but I’m the boss so it’s not like they can tell me no.

It’s been about an hour in a half and I’ve finally finished cooking and putting the food on the plates I told the maids and chefs to go home for the rest of the day and made dony make the table. As I walked over to the table all I could see was dony’s smile when he saw the food I think he even drooled a little. We ate silently till he finally spoke. Is there anything you’d like to know about me? I know stuff about you already, You’re Adonis Marco Black 22 years old father died when you 14 so you’ve been capo ever since was homeschooled till college at NYU oh and you're about 6”2. Wow how’d you know all of that? I’ve been trying to find you for years but couldn't find much till I got a face to the name. Your good I’ll give you that but tell me more about you. I know small things but what about your past? Um maybe another day are you done eating, finish up and wash the dishes. I told the maids and chefs to go home. Why would you do that? Because it’s late and you have hands that work perfectly. But you can- I can what Adonis? niente amore mio (nothing my love) oh I thought so I’m gonna go shower and get ready for bed hurry up it’s not a lot of dishes in there. What is this woman doing to me I have maids to do this and she is sending my workers home early what is wrong with me just letting her push me around like that I am the capo of The Black Dragon but I still washed those dishes and got ready for bed in the guest room since she was still showering by the time I got dressed and in the room she was laying down in the bed snuggled in the cover with all 4 dogs on the bed like guard dogs growling as I got in the bed even my dogs like I’m not their dad what is she doing to my home, while I was getting comfortable in the bed ignoring the growls she snuggles in my chest and like reflex I hugged her with one arm and had my other on her butt and surprisingly she let me I mean she flinched for a second but still no complaints so I kept it there as we fell into deep slumber.
