Detective Sergeant Richard Hopkins got out from the taxi as it pulled to a stop in front of the building where Ruud Von Bommel lived. He had called the movie star ahead of his arrival informing him that he needed to answer some questions concerning an ongoing police investigation where his name came up. The actor had been reluctant, but a little prodding from Hopkins bordering on detention for obstruction of justice did the trick and the actor obliged his coming over.
Hopkins immediately noticed the black suited men standing in front of the door of the penthouse apartment as he climbed the stairs towards it. The men who had been sitting down now got to their feet as he approached and fanned out.
“Police,” Hopkins said flashing his badge at their faces.
