The Peasant and the Old Lady

This happened in a small village near the Sierra Madre. My grandfather told me that there lived a man to whom unusual things happened. Many said that Mr. Jacinto was crazy, others said that he had a pact with the devil, some others said that he flew and could talk to animals and that he was able to appear and disappear. There were many rumours about him; it was even said that he had found a pot full of gold coins, because one day, he suddenly had a lot of money.
