Lola's POV
"I want you to mark me, Adrian".
He looked at me like I had grown another head and I started thinking it was a bad idea. "Did you just ask me to mark you?" He asked and I shook my head. "Forget I said anything, it was a bad idea. Just forget it", I rushed out before turning in the direction of the library aisle that I emerged from, my cheeks on fire.
What was I thinking asking him to mark me? I knelt down with my back facing the direction I came from as held my head in my hands. I froze when I heard him behind me.
Please go away, please go away, I chanted over and over in my head but he did not go away. Why won't he go away?
