The room went silent and I looked around the room to find various expressions on people's faces but none portrayed joy nor happiness.
"We were just told we were going to lead a war and you expect anyone to be glad about it?" Jasmine asked in my head and I wanted to scream.
Did I suffer for 8 years just to be pushed into war? And I thought I was going to get a good life now that I have clear skin, I guess I have to do away with that thought.
"What exactly is the prophecy and how am I supposed to lead it when I don't even know what it is about nor what I can do. Is this some kind of joke?" I questioned with a humorless laugh since I couldn't bring myself to cry about the matter at hand.
