I looked at Adrian, Lyla and Avianca and they all looked shocked too. "B-but he's dead. He's dead, right?" I asked no one in particular as I sat on the floor with my head in my hands.
I did not know how I felt about the piece of information. Fear? Anger? Pain? I did not know which one was more prominent. I was scared that the man who killed my parents was still on the lookout for me and would do anything to get me for himself. I was angry that he was still alive after ruining my life and wanted revenge on him. Jasmine was growling with anger in my head.
