I don’t know when I finally fell asleep because I had been crying since I got back in my room. I was sad and heart broken because of the way Dante was treating me and also disappointed that Lucas hadn't followed through with his word and confronted Dante with me like we had agreed. If he had done as we had agreed I wouldn’t have had to spend the night in the damn pack house were I clearly wasn’t welcomed
Morning crept in quietly, pale and hesitant, like it wasn’t sure it was welcome. I woke before the pack house stirred, my body still heavy with restless dreams and unslept thoughts.
